Sony Walkman D-NE520 Personal CD Player

I was looking to buy an mp3 player. A trip came up and instead of running around looking for a player, I decided that since I have a gang of already mp3 cds burned, I may as well just get an mp3 cd player. I shopped a little and with hesitation, bought this model (I haven't had luck with Sony products). I liked that it came with a remote (I could keep the player in my pack and just run the cord out the headphone hole), had a display, and ran on 1 battery. It turned out even more fantastic than I thought. Battery life, on 1 alone, is forever. The display is awesome - well lit and displays all ID3 tag info. I haven't used the ATRAC function as all I have are mp3s. Also, the player has equalizer settings to tailor the listening experience. I strenuously suggest this player - great sound, mp3 capability, great display, light weight, easy to remember remote buttons, and as a small bonus, it even looks cool with it glossy black finish and silver accent. Awesome!
