Very reliable
Pros
LED has perfect contrast, ,skip free, only one AA battery required
Cons
Feels light, flimsy (but isn't, maybe not a con to most people).
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I recommend this purchase for the quality, ease of use, perfect LED display, and the remote - oh yeah, and it only takes 1 AA battery that lasts seemingly forever
I was looking for a reliable portable CD/MP3 player for use between my car, home and work. This was the third and final model I tried and I was and continue to be extremely happy with it. I have never been able to cause this to skip in any circumstances. The LED is great, it is the only one I have never had trouble reading in any lighting conditions. The remote is simple, durable, and easy to use, which I found very important as I am often listening to it in the dark, and just want to change tracks by feel without opening my eyes. Although this player is a bit more than some on the market, as I paid 79$ US at a Good Guys store in California, I have found it to be worth every penny. The only down side I had to this player is the same one I have with just about all of them on the market these days, other than the Panasonic Shockwave series, and that is that they feel flimsy and light to me. I haven't had any durability problems, They just feel light. I don't think that would be a con to most people, I just hoped for a little more ... heft to it. The final thing I can say about this player is that although it only uses 1 (one) AA battery, the life it has is awesome. It plays through dozens of Cds before it goes low. I didn't have to change the battery once in the first ten days I used it, and I used it a lot. If you go with this model, I hope your experiences are as good as mine.
