Can we say the best? Just maybe.

Pros The battery life, MP3 playback, and anti-skip.
Cons Headphones, buy new ones.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Buy this CD player if you need a new one and get some headphones with it because it will last you for a while.
I bought this CD player after my brother broke my Christmas present one. This was a good $40 more than the previous one, but it came with some software and promised me 90 hours of battery life, so I thought, what they hey, my brother is coughing up the first $70, I can throw in forty bucks.

I brought the CD player home and the first thing I did was try out the software, Atrac3plus. The software is pretty simple, what it does is it allows you to diminish the quality of the sound by several different increments and by doing this the size of the music files shrinks. Allowing you to fit up to 450 songs on one CD. Quite amazing but I preferred not to do this because of the next feature I discovered on this bad boy.

I found out this thing can play MP3 CDs. What this means is, you can fit songs that instead of taking up a 5% of the CD, they take up less than 1% of the CD. Allowing you to have up to 170 songs or more on one disc, at full CD quality. So you can go through your collection of CDs, rip every Tool song you have onto your computer, burn it onto one CD and you can listen to all of your Tool songs on your CD player for 90 hours, nonstop, without changing discs.

Then, after I made this discovery I did just that, burned all of my Tool CDs onto one and started my audio pleasure and this is what happened. My CD stopped spinning completely at the thirty second mark of a song. The CD had actually read two minutes or more ahead in the song. I can shake, throw, bang, whatever I want to my CD player and it plays the song right through, no skips.

This CD player is amazing and I would recommend it to all who enjoy music. The only problem with it is that I would also recommend you grab a new set of headphones when you buy this CD player. The headphones that come aren't the best, though they got me through a few months.
