The unit worked great when I first purchased. The unit isn't reading discs, both new and rented, I have to open and close the door several times before it will read the disc. Other issue is the remote sucks, distance is poor and I cannot get it to learn into my universal remote, that I use on the road. Who knows what and where the remote in a hotel has been. I'm glad that the salesman talked me into the extra warranty, if I have issues on my next trip, back it goes.
