good quality equipment, but doesn't play my DVD-R movies. It will play mp3 and jpeg from DVD-+R. This is what they advertising as DVD-+R compatible.
It comes with AC charger only.
I had to replace it with Philips player (http://www.epinions.com/PHILIPS_Portable_DVD_Player_PET724/display_~latest_prices)- much better for less money.
