Way cool and just 6 months old
This Portable tablet style DVD Player made by Sony was released in to the US market just last April. It sports a 7 inch wide Screen and loads from it's under side. It does not have built in speakers, but comes with a Speaker cradle which also doubles as a charging stand.

Pros: The screen quality is beautiful. Although I am somewhat a minimalist, I found it easy to get into the movie and forget that I was watching it on only a 7" screen. All is good except the picture color
Hello all readers. I received this neat toy a day or two ago. I chose this model because of the 'cool' factor, integrated battery, speaker docking station, and the absence of the typical clam shell design. Having issues
The unit worked great when I first purchased. The unit isn't reading discs, both new and rented, I have to open and close the door several times before it will read the disc. pretty good if you don't want to watch DVD-R's
good quality equipment, but doesn't play my DVD-R movies. It will play mp3 and jpeg from DVD-+R. This is what they advertising as DVD-+R compatible.
It comes with AC charger only.
I had to replace it with Philips player...
