It almost works
Pros
Works fine for standard TVs.
Cons
Wrong aspect ratio displaying standard video on a HDTV.

Mine gets returned as "don't work." Yes it records, but I can't persuade it to record in the right aspect ratio. My Sony PC120BT miniDV camera shoots standard TV - 4:3. When I burn a DVD from my Mini DV, and play it on my HDTV, it is stretched to HDTV aspect - 16:9.
Of course, Sony Technical support did not respond.
I spent the whole weekend converting DVD-R's to drink coasters. No option I could find in the manual, or on-line lets me control the aspect ratio. Back it goes.
