Solid system - but a few issues
Pros
Easy set up. Good sound. Plenty of HDMI inputs. Good for smaller rooms.
Cons
No support for inputs other than HDMI. Misleading power ratings.

The Bottom Line:
A good buy if you only have HDMI video inputs and have a smaller room.
This is a great HT in a box choice if you have multiple HDMI sources you would like to control through one unit. 3 HDMI inputs all switched through the unit is the big selling point. Unfortunately, if you have any legacy equipment - perhaps an old DVD player or (gasp) VHS you will be out of luck - the only video input choices are HDMI - no component video, composite video, etc. The Sony PS3 hooks up no problem via HDMI. PS2? Sorry, you are out of luck! You will have to run the video direct to the TV.
Set up is super easy straight out of the box. Wires for the surround sound speakers are a little short - and have a proprietary connector on the receiver side. If you need longer wires you are probably going to have to do some splicing.
The power rating is also a little misleading. The unit is sold as 1000W total power - but read the fine print - that rating is at 10% total harmonic distortion - a generally unacceptable level. At a more conventional 1% THD the actual power drops to under 600W. Still plenty for a small to medium sized room, but don't expect the rattle the windows or fill up a large room with theater quality sound.
