The Bottom Line:
BUY ONE..
I have paired this projector with an 86 inch 16X9 screen and a SONY BDP-S300. The picture is fantastic. the projector is so quiet I cannot tell that is on. It's pricey, and for about half the money you can get an epson, or optoma that come close, but if you are looking for the best image in this price range I dont believe there is anything better. The auto iris black levels are very impressive. So much detail. I compared to movies on the molder LCD projecter and could see things that literally did not exist in the other image.
I ordered this projector through Tweeter Etc, and wasn't disappointed with that process, but there was no one there who knew anything about it. They had one as their display and they were still clueless. The remote is dissapointing, only becuase the buttons are not backlit. In this price range, I think they could light the remote. LASTLY, be careful if you plan to ceiling mount. For five grand you don't get the mount. That cost another whopping 800 BUCKS if you order it from sony. DON'T.. I found a nice mount online for $150 on Amazon.com

BUT be careful with this as well. It's a nice mount, but the aluminum hardware is soft. I snapped a spacer bolt off by tightning it too much and had to drill it out of the projecter..be careful.
