Sony XM-D500X 1-Channel Car Amp

For the price this is a great amp. This was my first real subwoofer amp purchase so i can't really compare it in depth to any other one but compared to my friends amps that i have heard it pounds hard. It is a great value being that it is a class D and is rated RMS 500 watts @ 2ohms. I have owned other sony products like a 4ch amp and head units in another car and i have this hooked up to 2 sony p5 subs and i really don't know why sony has a bad reputation in the mobile audio/ video area. I have had this amp for a full year with no real problems so for the price i highly recommend it to anyone who wants some real power in their car. It has a good response of up to about 300Hz i believe and its just an all around solid amp.
