I have nothing bad to say about this receiver. It's AWESOME.
From the understated, uncluttered elegance of the front panel to the incredible array of in/outputs on the rear panel, to the AMAZING remote control, to the detailed and easy-to-understand manual...this is a class act. The power and clarity is WORLD CLASS. Many an audiophile reviewer has been surprised by this tidy package. It is lightweight (for what it can do) and is STILL the most powerful receiver in the world today (even several years after it was introduced). 200 watts per channel at incredibly clean distortion levels into 7 channels, with full 9.1 capability with an additional stereo amplifier. I was flabbergasted by the myriad of adjustments available in the internal menu, include a second zone running independent of the main zone (the kids can listen to a CD in the other room while you're watching a movie in glorious Dolby Digital 5.1 sound!). This unit is also software-upgradeable via serial port or CD via optical link!
