I bought these compact binoculars for travel use to be carried in my camera bag or in my coat pocket. I considered Nikon, Leica and Zeiss 10x25s before deciding on these. I would say that the Swarovskis are easily the equal of any other super premium compacts available. Color rendition, sharpness, ease of focusing, and size make them an excellent choice. You will not feel that you compromised quality in any way by choosing these over the other competing brands in this binocular's class.
