Sylvania 6842PF 42" EDTV-Ready Plasma TV

That's right! A buddy of mine put me on to this bad boy at BJ's for $949.99 that's $250 less than the other reviewer less than a month later. After uying mine on a Monday, I went back that Saturday and it is down to $899.99 so that is $300 off the price in almost a month. They must have a ton of these TV's they are trying to get rid of. Price is excellent. After doing so much research on my TV for the living room, I knew this was a good deal as soon as I heard the price. 42" plasma for under $1000 is unheard of! I had read a lot of people complaining about the speakers, in my bedroom I have it at maybe 5% volume and it sounds great, I don't know what they are doing maybe blasting it at parties. I tired to turn it up to about 20% and it was unbearably loud. Please don't let the so called sub par speakers keep you away from this product, they are way above average. The picture and ease of installation should be noted as well. My biggest suprise was the quality of the EDTV picture, I was concerned that I would notice a substantial loss in picture quality from my HDTV Sony, the difference is negligible! I am ecstatic about my purchase and the thing is heavy enough that no one is breaking in and stealing it ha-ha. I must say that after buying my new Sterns and Foster mattress (review coming soon) it has been nearly impossible to wake up and go to work, now with this bad boy keeping me up all night I will probably be jobless soon!
