The Bottom Line:
Definitely a great tv for the price, compared to other tv's that cost twice the amount.
I bought my Olevia 332H tv in December and it was on sale for $550. I also bought the 3 year warranty for another $60. The setup took a little longer than expected, because there were so many wires in the back, and the instruction manual was not very helpful.
Once I was up and running, I was amazed at the clarity of the HD channels. Unfortunately, my cable provider only has approx. 20 channels that are in HD. There are a number of different aspect settings that can be selected to make the screen size larger on regular tv channels.
One of the biggest setbacks that I've seen on this tv is the lack of a code for Olevia tv's on cable remote controls. Most people are forced to buy a universal remote to be able to turn the tv off as well as control the cable box. I'm still using the tv remote to turn the tv on and to control the volume, and the cable box for everything else. Occasionally, when turning the tv on, I hear the sound, but I do not see a picture. I'll have to turn the tv off, then back on, and this usually clears things up.
The sound is not the best, but I do not have a home theater hooked up to my tv, so that could explain a lot. Also, I've heard of many people using this tv as a computer monitor and/or for video games, and they've had good things to say on both fronts.
