Service comes and goes at times
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
It is great for hearing impaired/frequent texters and if TMobile fixes there services for sidekicks, I would recommend this phone.
I had this phone for 2 years, it was the best phone I could have ever had, to this day I still love the phone it just doesn't work anymore for me. I got it in 2008 after I was introduced to it by a friend of mine who was deaf, it was great for the large amount of texting that they did, and that I did. I paid 250 dollars for this phone, it was a decent price for everything the phone did. It had IM, Email, Calling, Texting, Web use, Calendar, Games, and numerous other applications, as well as doubling for a stereo when you put music onto it. Full Qwerty keyboard which made composing e-mails or texting an actual joy to do. The only down fall of this phone came when my 2 year contract with TMobile was up and the phone had been used everyday all day long for 2 years. My service was getting jumpy, sometimes I would have it, sometimes I wouldn't have it, and then TMobile's server crashed losing information pertaining to sidekick users, and then my service just failed one day. It is also a very durable phone, I have dropped it, and it has gotten thrown by my son... I only had to repair the screen once but it lasted through a 4 year old and myself which says a lot. Would I recommend this phone? Yes, if TMobile fixes there problems and tweaks the service a little, I would very much recommend this phone to anyone who does a lot of texting and/or is hearing impaired.
