T-Mobile MDA is a nightmare to initiate
Pros
Great looking unit
Cons
No service; no customer care; no recourse
Recommended it?
No
My new T-mobile MDA, purchased in September, was only good as a phone for a month. After several calls [some with my IT guy in attendance] I got my emails. Another month later I was able to get my other outlook components. I spent about 20 hours on the phone; my IT guy about 10 hours. Each time we got a tier 3 MDA technician we got different opinions and courses of action. The frustration was palpable.
This week we wanted to have a discussion with t-mobile about the bill and how to reconcile the lack of service with the service charges. They shut off my unit since the bill was 7 days late despite a call from me asking for a hold until today to try and reconcile. They are charging $20 to reinstate the service.
I have never encountered this poor service coupled with such poor consumer "CARE".
I cannot believe they can survive with this level of obtuse personnel and lack of consumer attention.
