The new T-Mobile Wing, perfect for the texter and browser

Function, ease of use, color clarity, great blue exterior and easy to grip rubberized finish.

The Bottom Line:
Despite cons, the pros outweigh everything. I am huge on texting & web browsing and this phone makes both easy to do with it's generous screen size and keyboard.

The new T-Mobile Wing by HTC is the first cell phone in America to come equipped with Microsoft's latest version of Windows Mobile. This PDA comes with many of the common features you would expect from your average computer such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe Reader. This phone also comes with a slide out full, easy-to-use Qwerty keyboard and a touch screen with extra buttons in the front for easy access to basic functions with the keyboard closed. This phone also comes with a discreet stylus that you will not notice unless you search for it.
Considering all the features of this phone, this is a fairly user-friendly device. It did take me a few hours to figure out how to set up certain functions to work the way I like it but once I did that and learned all the features, I was good to go. I love that this phone has great handwriting recognition. You can change the option to both print and cursive and the phone can recognize almost anything you write. One thing I couldn't figure out at first was why this phone didn't automatically give a list of options when you start to dial a number or name. You have to set the phone setting to smart dialing or else you won't even be able to see what numbers you are dialing!
My biggest annoyance with this phone is that it seems to be made for a left-handed person. Once the slide-out keyboard is open, all the bottoms and the stylus on the bottom are accessed from the left. Seems like a small detail but gets a little annoying after using it for a while. Another con with this phone is the size and weight. Although slightly slimmer than the T-Mobile MDA, it is still a little bulky and on the heavy side but lighter than the Sidekick. I guess anything will feel heavier because my previous phone was a Blackberry Pearl.
