Not too bad to see the Moon
Pros
Low price, good beginner telescope
Cons
wooden tripod
Recommended it?
Yes
I don't know how to compare this telescope to other ones since I've never had another one, but what I've gotten out of it has been a pretty good value for what I paid for it(about $90).
It has a 60mm Objective lens diameter(the bigger the better), a wooden tripod(which costs less but isn't as durable as the metal ones), a 5X24mm finderscope(to help find objects), sun-projection screens(for observing the sun:NOT DIRECTLY!), a diagonal piece(allows comfortable viewing position), 3 eyepieces(20mm, 8mm, 4mm), a 3X power Barlow Lens, a 1.5X eyepiece(that corrects upside down/reversed image), a moon filter(decreases moon's glare when fuller), and there was also a map of the moon and poster of our galaxy with the telescope.
I can see the craters on the moon very easily(the highest power is 600 magnification using the 4mm eyepiece, and the 3X(magnification) Barlow lens). I think this is a pretty good telescope for a new stargazer, who wants to see the moon-craters, however if you'd wanna see the rings of Saturn, or Jupiter, this probably isn't good enough.
