Great Beginner Telescope

Yes
This is a great telescope for anyone first getting into astronomy. It has decent clarity, and I have been able to view planets and nebulas with little distortion. The primary negative is that the aimer scope on mine is a little off; I have not been able to correct this, but through practice it is not a problem. For instance, I know that mine misses right a little bit, so I adjust accordingly when aiming for objects. A good way to align your scope is to view the moon initially.
