Tasco telescopes aren't what any serious amateur astronomer would think of as high quality. In fact, if you google just right, you'll find plenty of websites dedicated to warning you away from these telescopes. They are cheap, cheap, cheap.

I'm a rookie astronomy enthusiast, I bought this telescope a couple months ago and since then I've learned a thing or two about telescopes. I'll say that this telescope is 1/3 great and 2/3 a bad choice.

Wouldn't buy this one myself
My TASCO 675x114mm was a gift from my boss (3 days ago) so the price was right. My first telescope. I'm a true beginner not knowing one end of a reflector scope from the other.
