I'm a rookie astronomy enthusiast, I bought this telescope a couple months ago and since then I've learned a thing or two about telescopes. I'll say that this telescope is 1/3 great and 2/3 a bad choice.
1.- The great about this telescope is the that it gives the advantage of any 114mm reflector.
2.- the fist downside is that the tripod is very unstable and you can have a bad time when focusing an object when switching to the barlow piece.
3.- the other downside is that the eye pieces are not the best so the image will suffer a lot.
Since it is a very cheap product you can invest in accesories and make the best out of a low budget, but if you can invest in a higher quality product I recommend you do.
I recommend it to beginners who are looking for a cheap and practical "to go" telescope.
