Teac CD-x6 (CD Door has issues)
Pros
Nice sound for the price.<br>Standard 12v input jack is nice for a car adapter.
Cons
Needs an equalizer.<br>The drive door is fragile. DO NOT close manually. Oops.

My Teac CD-x6 is a nice unit, but I can't let the children (or some adults) use it.
The 12v power and compact size is nice for use in our motorhome. The input plug is standard and the adapter is readily available.
The unit has a nice sound for the price. An equalizer would be nice, but would affect the price.
The motorized CD Drive door is a nice touch, but it's fragile. DO NOT close the door manually. There's a drive belt for the door that broke on mine. It's in the core of the unit under the main Printed Circuit Board. It requires disassembly of the unit and removal of the PCB to replace the belt.
The remote control is handy, but it's small and easy to lose.
I've pointed several negatives, but over all, I like the sound and portability.
