A good workhorse that keeps working

Upgradability out the wazoo!
6 channels at 100 Watts a piece? This is absolutely unheard of. Most amps only come with 5 channels so you have to buy a powered subwoofer. Better than higher end stuff
Overall I really love this combo....paired with the SC500H encoder. Being seperate means you get 2 power supplies instead of one and that's always a plus in my mind. The first and good
This Technics was a first receiver with Ta ke Capacitors. Be the first have some problems. This model have many new functions (BiWire, BiAmp, Take, ASC, Subwoofer amp, etc.), but some are corrected in SA-AX7 (ASC +9 dB at 50Hz to +5 dB), reducing hiss in speakers, Tape Monitor, etc.
