Great mid range unit
Pros
Easy to use, sound quality is superb for the price, A & B speaker settings
Cons
Buttons on remote are small, unit gets quite warm. No light on volume knob
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
For those interested in good sound on a budget, this is the unit for you
I research all of my major home theatre purchases
this unit is great buy for those on a mid range budget.
I have a Sony Wega 32" TV, Sony speaker package and Panasonic DVD changer.
It is well designed with a good display that is easy
to see both night and day. The power and sound is superb for those of us non audiofiles that just want good sound
in their home theatre.
Especially like the simulated surround and sound fields.
Automatically identifies the digital sound source when playing a DVD (ie. Dolby Digital or DTS)
This unit works well with my satellite speaker package and active sub.
Like I said I research my purchases, tried the Kenwood and the Pioneer but found this unit
had the best features for my mid range budget.
