Yes
The Bottom Line:
if you have that many cds to begin with- you have a problem!(and you might want to get one of these.)
I bought this unit as a floor model for $109 at a Circuit City, back in 1998. I like it! The only problem is that you have to set aside at least an hour to change all the discs out.
Other than that, I have enjoyed it thoroughly. I have a ton on cds, and it is ever expanding, so I needed to get something like this.
The remote is pretty easy to use, although i rarely use it, because my receiver remote operates it as well.
There is a feature that allows you to enter the name of each disc slot, but it is really more trouble than it's worth. When you remove the disc, it looses that information, even if you put that disc back in later in that slot. It does recognize factory cd text discs, with song titles and everything, but the self input feature is pretty complicated and tiresome. (I understand that there are other models that have a keyboard input so you can enter disc and song titles! Yikes!)
