Be Ready to Buy a New One
My husband and I purchased our Tivo exactly one year ago. This morning..."green screen of death." We contact Tivo and what did they tell us? They told us their best suggestion was that WE PURCHASE A NEW ONE.

Dreadful. Watch out for the $150 cancellation penalty!
I suppose I should have read all the fineprint. Here's what I found out about Tivo after wasting my money:
1. Doesn't support HD. Recorded picture looks horrid on HD.
