Quality product, a little expensive
Pros
Good sound (for a small stereo), large display, quiet CD player.

Alarm beep when setting alarm is annoying.

I was looking to replace a Philips MCR230 unit which had broken down after ~1.5 years (CD Player went out). The quality of the Timex is significantly higher than the Philips, though that's expected since the Timex cost ~2x as much. The sound quality, nap timer, dual alarm, nature sounds, and dimmable display are some of the features that sold me on the product.
My only dislike is that when turning the alarm on, the unit beeps fairly loudly (i.e., if no alarm is on, you hit the Alarm On/Reset button and you can select between turning Alarm 1 on, Alarm 2 on, Both Alarms on, both off). This isn't a daily issue because the alarm stays set each day (turning off the alarm on wakeup is really just resetting it for the next day). But come Friday or Sunday when I need to change the alarm, the beeping is annoying, particularly if my wife is already asleep...
