Yippee

I bought the Timex Model T617 CD Clock Radio with Control System because it had nice features: CD/radio/nature sounds/dual alarms. Quality product, a little expensive
I was looking to replace a Philips MCR230 unit which had broken down after ~1.5 years (CD Player went out). It's just okay..not great.
I bought this radio specifically because the sound was good. I was interested in waking up to music that didn't sound like it was coming out of a tin can. This radio is great sounding....

Nice, but unreliable ...
Originally, we were very pleased with our Timex CD clock radio. We purchased it for our baby's room, and we found the sound to be fine, the nature sounds to be great (!), the look appealing, and the price about right.
