Pros never forget to record programs, Wishlists, pause, rewind and of course fast...
Cons cost almost not an issue any more, need to be near phone line.
Recommended it? Yes

Pros Everything. Well, mostly everything. I'd take an 80 hour if someone gave it to me.
Cons A certain Canadian channel has weird airtimes, but I guess that's not Tivo's...

Pros always something to watch, easy to use, no worry about missing favorite shows
Cons cost, can't record two shows at once, not really 80 hours of storage

I love my Tivo!

If you've never heard of Tivo it is basically a new way to record and keep programs recorded from either television or cable (or another source) similar to a VCR. If you've never heard of a VCR – I pity you fool!
