We bought this GPS when we got lost in Washington D.C. Although it helped us find some great food, it did not include many of the sites we wanted to see in the area (no "landmarks" or other just POI). This GPS did get quite confused in the "mixing bowl" of highways in the Washington D.C. area. This GPS drops satellite signal quite frequently, which is aggervating when you are trying to drive somewhere hectic like D.C. or NY. Overall, the functionality is easy to use and intuitive but you do have to press quite a few buttons to get to something like 'clear a route' or 'view text' (if you want to view what is coming up as opposed to waiting for it to tell you). Also, this GPS has told me to turn on to a completely different highway than I was supposed to before, and ended me up in a different state. They need some new software. Also, the unit itself is not small, so keep that in mind.
