This is a great, affordable GPS unit for anybody!
The TomTom XL 330S GPS systems was my treat to myself for black Friday! I had quite a few road trips planned over the next month and thought it would be the perfect time to switch from using mapquest to an actual GPS system. I'm so glad I did!
This GPS system is extremely user friendly. The first time you turn it on out of the box, it walks you through the setup and helps you prepare your first trip. Everything is so user friendly that you will catch on almost immediately. I had absolutely no problems getting a hold of how to use it. Within minutes, I was a pro. In fact, I didn't even need to use the user's manual, the setup was so easy. This system powers up pretty quickly and brings up routing info fairly quickly as well. I have never had a problem with delays as of yet. So, far I have used the system for several trips, some just 30 or so miles from my house and some almost 300 miles away, and each time the system has provided me with accurate directions and gotten me to my destination with no problems. Best of all, I can even find Points of Interest easily with this system either on my route, at a selected point, or at my destination. This GPS system is such a handy little tool!
The only gripe I have with the system is that when I need to charge it the little plug is hard to insert into the system. Also, I wish the system had a text-to-speech feautre - its can be hard at times to take your eye off the road to read the screen for street names or exit names.
Overall, I love this little GPS system. It works great and the battery lasts for a good three hours. I would definitely suggest this to anyone who is a GPS beginner and wants and affordable and reliable unit!
