TomTom XL 340S - 4.3 in. Car GPS Receiver

I bought the TomTom XL 340.S Car GPS Receiver approximately 7 months ago because the roads where I live at change constantly and I am very bad at remembering directions. I live in the U.S. and I went on a road trip to Canada with my family and we were able to use it there as well. I also find it very helpful that you can choose the language of your preference; I put it in French sometimes to practice a little bit, or Spanish. I honestly thought using a GPS system was going to be complicated but for my surprise is very easy to put your addresses in with its touchscreen. I also felt that the price was good when I first got it, it wasn't something you need to go broke to in order for you to be able to buy it and these days you need a support system to guide you, especially if you are trying to make long distance trips. Before, I wouldn't dare to go on a road trip, especially taking the kids but with the TomTom XL 340 I've been unstoppable. This GPS system also gives you the option to decide the routes that you would like to take in order to get faster to your destination so I find that pretty amazing; sometimes it allows you to find private routes that I wouldn't normally know exist or that I'm able to drive on them. One day I was running out of gas (because I'm always try to save every single penny) so I check on the Point or Place of Interest option and I was able to find a gas station close by so this system in general is very helpful.
