If you can get it for $1500 go for it!
This TV has a great picture and the features and inputs are fantastic. I got mine for $1500 from BestBy. I wouldn't spend $2000 on it though so look for the deal. Good TV. Replacing the lamp.
We bought our Toshiba the day after Thanksgiving 2005 when Best Buy had them for $1500. It has an excellent HD picture and good sound through the on-board speakers. I think our 27" LCD has a slightly better picture but that may be only due to the smaller screen size.

Great picture - nothing else works
This TV looks great. That's all the good things I can say about it.
I have had six problems with this TV since I got it:
1) Noisy Fan
2) Dark shadow in the middle of the TV
3) Small dark dot towards bottom of TV
4) TV turns off randomly
