Toshiba 50A60 50 in. TV

My brother and I recently bought this TV for our parents and we all love it. My mom recently had double bypass open heart surgery and was told that she had to take it easy for the next 3-4 months. We figured that since she's going to be home for such an extended period of time doing nothing but watch TV she may as well do it in style. We weren't sure of which TV to get her, so we started doing a little research. We came across the Toshiba 50A60 and looked at several website and chatrooms and could find no one who had a poor opinion of it. As a matter of fact we could find nothing but people raving about how great it was. This sounded too good to be true, so we went to see it in person. We weren't too impressed with the TV in the store, but then again those sales guys never seems to know what they are doing. All of there settings were messed up which didn't do the TV any favors. I tried messing with it for a while and it looked pretty decent. We looked at a few more models but we kept coming back to the 50A60 and the glowing reviews we had read. Once I had adjust the settings, the picture quality improved greatly and was clearly one of the best TVs there. Still we weren't sure if we should spend that kind of money for a TV weren't blown away by. We banked on the fact that so many people had messed with the floor model and that's why it didn't look as others had described it. We took a chance and bought it for our parents. We couldn't be happier!!! Once I had time to properly setup the TV (which was very quick) we popped a DVD in and the picture and sound were truly amazing. Now everytime there is a big game or a movie I want to see, I find myself on my parent's doorstep. I just wish I had bought one for myself. My mom is successfully recovering and everytime I talk to her she tells me how much she loves the TV. Great job and thank you Toshiba!!!!
