Toshiba 50H82 50 in. TV

Ive been in the market for a bigscreen tv since the end of the 2002 race season. The 27" had served its purpose and now I wanted something we could really enjoy. After searching the net and browsing through stores, I had initially favored the 47" widescreen panasonic. It was in the price range I was looking at ($1500) and had a good picture. Luckilly, the informative salesman at the local Rex Electronics showed me that if I included a aftermarket screen protector on the Panasonic, I could easily pay for the larger Toshiba with the factory set up. The picture quality is stunning, DVD's never looked this good. DirectTv is much better, as is plain old Cable tv. If I had to pick one drawback, its the fact that there is no room for a small dvd player or dtv receiver. Ive seen many projection tv's that at least have a foot or two built for add ons.
