Was very happy with TV (51HX93) for first 4 months - then the sound died. Took 2 visits and 3 weeks to repair. After 2 weeks, it broke again. The mother board is still in the shop. We use this TV very little. In the 6 months we have had it, it has been broken for more than 1 month. Toshiba is covering the repair costs, and offering to extend the 1 year warranty for the duration the TV is out of commision. They refuse to do anything further, like exchange it or give us an extended warranty. All we get for our lost viewing time and 4 days off of work for service appointments is, "Sorry."
