Good picture, bad craftsmanship.
Pros
Great image quality, easy to use remote and good sound quality.
Cons
Costly and multiple repairs.
Recommended it?
No
Had the set for nearly three years and I'm on my 4th lamp and third light engine.
Thank goodness we read the reviews and purchased a service contract because it would have cost us $2,400 to get the parts and service. I hope I can extend the service plan.
I actually went out and purchased a lamp on my own just to keep the set working while i'm waiting for ESPs lamps which take about two weeks to arrive.
I'll keep this thing until it falls apart because the image quality is great but I'm not happy with the craftsmanship at all. Toshiba should be ashamed of themselves.
The image quality has been very good and the remote is pretty easy to use, although I wish that someone would come up with a true universal remote system because there are certain functions that can't be addressed with even the most elaborate "universal" remotes in the retail stores
Buyer beware and purchase an extended service plan on any new electronic product.
