problems with direct tv and dish network .

good high definition picture on 7 out of 200 channels.
Cons
I WOULD NOT BUY TOSHIBA ANYTHING AGAIN.

Toshiba 52hmx84 tv is very good for hd channels but very poor on all the others.a Toshiba home tv repair person came out to check on the problem i was seeing and said all the rear projection tvs are having the same problem.He was to contact Toshiba and try to replace the componet that converts from 1070i to 720p.Toshiba would not let him repair the set.my set is only 2 months old and the picture is terrible on all non high definition channels.the satelite companies say its the tv and the toshiba blames the satellite companies.the factory authorized repair people say that they are in the middle.they tell me its the tv and not the dish network or direct tv.both have changed the box and dish for me.Toshiba is not honoring my warranty.TOSHIBA HAS BEEN GIVING ME THE RUNAROUND SINCE JANUARY 2005.
