The best DLP TV for me based on one year worth of research

My big screen is finally here

BEWARE!: Toshiba does not care if you have a problem!
Since the first day I got this TV, it hasn't worked properly. The screen is covered in 'snow', the figures are blurred, and the sound crackles. Toshiba has given me the run-around about fixing it. The independent service guys they send say they don't know how to fix it, and Toshiba will not do...

CONs r All Wrong. Lamers!
The TV works perfect. The remote does make a buzz when pressing buttons. TV guide; who the heck uses a TV guide? NO One! Just scroll through the channels until you find what you want. Awe
I looked and looked at different styles of HDTV: Plasma, LCD, CRT, Projection and DLP. I was very impressed with the DLP as the size was great and the technology is unsurpassed in my mind.
The TV that caught my eye in DLP was a 61" Samsung at Costco for 3495.00... I had my heart set on it...

stay away from this
t.v. is dead after 13 months, no pic no sound just i hear it turns on then off after 3 or so minutes i fell the small fan for the cable card works but the bigger fan does not no help from them to fix, stay away from there products take care Read full review »
Great Picture
I have had this TV for about 4 months. To sum it up, it's great. Picture is stunning. Everyone who sees it for the first time is in awe. HD baseball and football are unbelievable. Sound is OK.

Over priced product
I ran into the same problems to those in other postings. The TV's remote control is always out of control and not working and TV always has strange behaviors once a while. Since I am a software developer, I know most the problems attribute to the bad software that is running the TV's operation... Read full review »
Nice TV poor support
I have had my 52HMX94 for 2 months. I have NEVER got the TVGUIDE to work. No big deal until you realize the the Symbios Hard Drive recorder REQUIRES that TVGUIDE Interactive to work to record ANYTHING. I have called Toshiba support 8 times and they blame direct tv.
