4 lamps in less than 2 years. Buying this TV was one of the worst purchases I've made. After dealing with their customer support, I wouldn't buy any Toshiba product again.
"Well we've seen those lamps fail in 30 days."
"And, you think that's O.K.?"
"That's just the way it is."
"So you won't do anything about the failures."
"No, sorry."
These are $260 lamps supposed to be good for 6000 to 8000 hours. I figure I have something less than 2000 hours on the TV and have had lamps burn out. Only one covered by warranty. And when you replace a lamp...its a 90 day warranty.
