Avoid this Model at all cost!
I purchased this TV Nearly a Year Ago because of the Great price, Great Size, and having a wide viewing angle. Save yourself the hassle
I purchased this television 2 1/2 years ago. Here was my experience: The first television that was delivered didn't even work...neither did the second one. Ups and downs.
I bought this TV on a plan. I was awed by its size and the price. I'd wanted a big screen for a long time, and I was lookin at Philips when I saw this one.

dead TV- three months no help
We purchase a Toshiba for football season. Two weeks after purchase the picture had red streaks, the streaks grew, until we lost the picture and sound. We called Toshiba for help. Yeah baby yeah
I've been wanting a widescreen TV for a while now. Sold my old K5 Blazer and had a few bucks so I bought the Toshiba 57H93. Wow, this TV has a great picture.
