Nice picture when it worked.

Non- high def channels looked like crap. Don't trust the quality of the components.

Avoid Toshiba rear projection CRT's. I went through two of them in less than two weeks. First one the convergence went all out of whack out of nowhere. Second one after about a week started showing an orange glow in the top center of the TV when it was turned off. I returned it and purchased a Hitachi with which I couldn't be happier. Plus the Hitachi has an auto convergence button.
