Do yourself a favor and buy this set. It is on lengthy backorder in many places, that tells you that demand exceeds supply. People know quality when they see it.
I just purchased this set and it is great. The color depth and clarity is excellent due to the upgraded lense system of the cinema series. I watch HD television over the Dish Network through the Echostar 6000 HD receiver and this set produces crystal clear HD images. The styling on this set is very nice and blends well with my decor. The on screen menu is very easy to navigate through to set up the set's various controls. The remote also is a universal and can control up to seven devices, no more numerous remotes laying around. I don't use the sound features as I have a surround sound system, but this set has an excellent sound system as well. The screen cover is matte which cuts down on unwanted screen glare. The set has two component hook ups along with the usual array of s-video and RCA hookups.
I cannot say enough good things about this excellent set, I highly recommend it.
