Amazing Picture Quality, Breathtaking color and detail

Pros Perfect Color, black is black. Definition when watching cable HDTV Shows is the best!
Cons Slow changing channels. Remote is bulky, difficult to use with 1 hand.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Best DLP TV on the market. Buy one now!
I went to many showrooms and compared DLP TV's side by side, and the Toshiba 62HM195 is the perfect TV for my 15' x 15' room. I would not go any bigger than this for this size room. The 72HM195 is equally as awesome, but to big for the space I wanted to put it in.

The picture is incredible, almost breathtaking. Seeing every blade of grass, every torn pedal on a flower. Watching sports is like sitting in the front rows at stadium/arena, actually watching the show in the stadium/arena, and not at home.

The sound of the TV itself is lacking, but if you get a great surround sound system, you won't need the TV speakers anyway, and if you've sunk so much into a TV like this, why not put money into the sound system too?

Setup was very easy. It walks you through the steps.

I strongly recommend this TV as the very best of the DLP TV's. Shop around! For a brand new TV and Stand, the price ranged from $2500 to $4200. You can save lots of bucks just shopping around. You won't be disappointed.

For those interested, the bulb problem has been fixed on the newer releases of the 62HM195 model. You can actually go to the Toshiba website under support and confirm whether your TV model has the old (problem bulb) or new bulb. If you have the old bulb and it fails they are offering an extended warranty on your set at not cost to you. I have a newer TV, with the newer bulb, and no problems at all. This is an incredibly awesome TV. The picture when watching HDTV broadcast shows is incredible. You can see every blade of grass, every tear in a flower petal, Nature documentary movies take on a new meaning. Oh, and sports, don't even get me started on how much more enjoyable that is.
