I will try to save you some pain. This T.v. has an awesome picture when its working. I think it has the best Dlp picture of any Dlp set on the market. The problem is Toshiba cant seem to make a bulb that can last. If you buy this product be prepared to spend a lot of money on it. Think of it as a service contract with Toshiba. You would be considered lucky if you got 1yrs use from your T.v. before you would be required to pay $400 for the privilege to use your $3000 T.v. again. Think of it as a really awesome ink jet printer that puts out blow-away pictures and when you run out of ink in a very short time you will need to buy a $400 ink cart to make it all happy again.
