62HMX84 almost lasted two months
Pros
Nice picture, great remote, good features.
Cons
No picture, one HDMI port works, spent too much money to stare at the wall.

We owned this TV for about 45 days when the Toshiba 720P DVD player stopped providing input. Turns out one of two HDMI channels stopped working on the TV. A week later the TV turns itself off and on as if possessed. Now it only turns itself off after about a minute of use. I started asking other people about their Toshiba TV experiences and now I am not too sure about keeping this one. My last Toshiba lost sound after a few years. The one I owned before that blew it's picture tube a year and three days after purchase. The one year warranty would not cover it, not even a hint of help was offered by Toshiba. My friends Toshiba blew its sound and my step-fathers TV lost its sound. I could not find anyone with an old Toshiba TV.
The repair place comes out tomorrow and so I will be missing time at work. I have a bad feeling that this is just the beginning.
