The Bottom Line:  its garbage and their service is garbage do not buy
Here is a story of a happy little boy that could finally afford his first big screen television a 62" toshiba dlp. This boy loves football and mainly bought the set to watch the bengals play in high definition. Well after about 7 months of owning the television his bulb blows no big deal its under warranty, he is even understanding about it taking 7-10 days to replace it. Football season comes around woo go bengals and about a third of the way through the season (begining of november) the picture starts to flicker with a blue light and as it got hotter lines would trace through it then this awful sound from inside the tv starts. So the little boy realizes that the tv is still under warranty so he calls to have someone come out and look at it but they never do. They call and say we know what is wrong with it we have ordered the part it will be here on January 28,2008 just a couple days before the super bowl. The little boys heart is broken because he may have to watch the super bowl on his busted a$$ 3000 shi+ of an investment. So the big day rolls around and he does not recieve a call so he calls them to hear that the part has not come in and wont come in until Feb 16. So he watches the super bowl on his shi++y set thanking god for the dvr and a reliable substantially smaller samsung to fill in the gaps at cool down time. He gets a call a couple days after the super bowl saying that the part is in but they do not think it will fix the problem. The tech that took the original call and made the decision without looking at the tv had been fired and no one reviewed the file until the part came in. The new tech says he knows what it is and doesnt need to make the 45 minute drive to look at it but intuitively the little boy made him come out and look at it anyway. Now its not the digital board that he had been told for months, it was the light engine which is basically the tv. He said it would be anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks to get a rebuilt unit. The little boy understands that parts can be hard to find at times, he also understands what in a timely manner means.
No one is willing to take resposibility for the set they just shove it off on the little boy and take his money knowing they sold him a lemon. I am that little boy and they did sell me poisoned milk in the form of a television set.
The company from the story above is called Electrosound. they are an officially licensed toshiba repair company with their heads just as far up there asses as TOSHI+A and i do not recomend the tards from that company to anyone.
When i bought this set i was naive to dlp technology and got fisted by a multimillion dollar company that made 3000 of my hard earned money and wont even back their product. I do not recomend TOSHI+A to anyone. We also bought a high def dvd player($600) when we bought the set and now it doesnt work either.
