If you have a playstation 3 or blueray player this tv is awesome. You will definitely need HD tv to use this tv. I got mine on sale for $1499. I have not seen anything else that compares to this price for size. LCD and Plasma make be better pictures if you stand 3 feet away or closer, but when you sit back and watch this DLP is a perfect picture. You will need HDTV to use this a blueray player or dvd upconverter to 1080p works great also.
