I've replaced 2 lamps in less than 3 months-that's not quality
Since I purchased it on 8 August 2007 I have had to replace the lamp twice and we only watch it twenty or so hours a week. Whens the bulb blowing???
Before I get started You need to beware of the bulbs in all these D.L.P. are blowing like crazy between 2000 to 5000 hours. Comparing that to the L.C.Ds Which are going around 50,000 to 80,000. Now thats a shock.I bought a 3 year on-site warranty with 2 bulb replacements for $200.

Best TV for the Size and Price! Clear!
We researched several HDTVs and came up with this one for the size and price. We have a big room and wanted to be able to keep the cost reasonable but have a big tv. This DLP is working out great. Bulbs don't last and cost $200
The DLP technology requires a bulb that is known to fail. I have gone through 3 bulbs in less than 24 months. Toshiba Customer Service apologizes for the problem but no help. Best tv for the price
If you have a playstation 3 or blueray player this tv is awesome. You will definitely need HD tv to use this tv. I got mine on sale for $1499. Purchased 6/16/07 and Not Happy
Too bad there were not reviews back then, within 6 months a white spot developed on the screen. Toshiba sent out a tech Nov. '07 who didn't touch the set and haven't heard from him since. Updating my 7/8/09 Comment on Toshiba 65HM167 DLP TV
Despite excellent picture and sound, now AFTER 26 months of use, I am confronted by 2 problems. (So be sure to have 5-year extended warranty on this product--and hope they will honor it that long.)
