Toshiba D-R2 DVD Recorder

I have being using the Toshiba D-R2 DVD Recorder for about 4 months and I am very pleased with all features of the unit. First of all I should start by saying that this Recorder is not for the feint of heart - if you like to put a disc in and hit record choose another unit. However, once you have learned the ins and outs of the Recorder it is simply fantastic. The features are too many to list and at this price range it has more features than some of the top of the line recorders. The odd time it will not recognize the disc but a simple open and close of the disc tray and the problem resolves itself. I have had no bad burns to date using this recorder. The only option this unit does not have is a built in hard drive but at this price range you cannot expect this feature. If you are looking for an excellent recorder at a competitive price I strongly suggest that you look into purchasing this DVD-Recorder.
